It’s not that I can’t afford the upgrade it’s that to me I can’t really justify it. For 8.5k (the cost of mt07 with ECU and exhaust) you can get a bran new mt09, a much bigger better bike with many more features. It’s just that for 7k you can get a bran new mt07. You have one of the best bikes on the market, don't go cheap on it, she deserves better! Oh, and that's just the cost of modding your motorcycle hahaha
Kind of like getting a brand-new laptop, wiping the OS and then installing your own fresh Windows without all the bloatware/adware. It completely awakens the true MT-07 characteristics and adds in additional quality of life changes. I have sent my ECU to them and have never regretted the $315. 2WDW will reflash as long as you pay for shipping. You can run your bike on the stock exhaust with the flashed ECU until you have more budget for the new exhaust. It's around $315 and they'll even reflash the ECU (for free) after the initial flash if you change your setup. Majority of MT-07 owners send their ECU to 2 Wheel DynoWorks. In my opinion, the better route is to flash the ECU once (without a Power Commander) and be done with it. It piggybacks on the ECU and adjusts the fuel map on the fly. If you're on a budget, you can always do the Power Commander route. By the way, CONGRATS and welcome to the club!
